Rabbit Hole: Crank That (Soulja Boy)
This day, but in 2007 at 17 years and one month old, Soulja Boy boy became the youngest artist to write, produce and perform a #1 Hot 100 hit when "Crank That" goes to the top. Starting with this song, trail hops through a shared producer into The Autumn Offering's metal corner, then pivots back through Hip-Hop via Bo, COUCOU CHLOE, and a string of Last.fm-linked rappers — Tori Fixx, B-Rock, Young Money, London On Da Track, Nicki Minaj, Trina, Kash Doll, Tay Money, BIA, and Lakeyah — before landing on Shape's "Good Karma."
