Rabbit Hole: Don't Worry Be Happy
This day on 1988 Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry Be Happy" becomes the first a cappella song to hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Starting from this song, the trail winds through reggae and dub via UB40, Aswad, Dennis Brown, King Tubby, and Prince Far I — stitched together by producer credits from Robbie Shakespeare, Aston "Family Man" Barrett, and Bunny Lee — before arriving at Mo' Horizons' "Foto Viva."
